Hi, I’m Dave – a graphic designer and web developer based in Zug, Switzerland. I design and develop digital projects under the name Studio Dave Spengeler. Anyone who works with me has direct contact, short lines of communication, and gets honest feedback.

I spent over fifteen years working in agencies – as a designer, developer, and team lead. At the beginning of 2022, I set up my own business to not only carry out projects, but to think about them holistically. My background in design shapes how I write code – and vice versa.

I support companies, institutions and agencies in building digital brand presences. I like to design in a minimalist way, with typographic sensitivity and I write code that carries this: clean structure, solid logic, long-lasting architecture.

My tools are Figma, Adobe CC, Kirby and Craft CMS. I believe that design and development shouldn’t live in separate silos – they become stronger when they’re thought together.

What I do: develop brands. Design interfaces. Build websites. And in between: listen carefully, question things, and reduce.
